I have decided that my opinion on matters political, social, or otherwise is nobody's business but mine.. I don't want to speak out about this or that, it's a waste of time and it doesn't do me any favours. If you want opinion listen to talk radio. If you want my opinion please check out my music on this website, and also iTunes etc. will allow you to preview before you purchase. Check it out. There are four albums available now, including a new band Capital Expressway. You'll notice a broad range of musical styles contained therein.

I haven't really been able to stick to any one genre for very long, because I get bored easily. It's probably the worst thing you can do, because people like their artists to always be the same, I know I do. However if you got this far, maybe you'd consider trying out something new, maybe without the pretentiousness of one dimensional entertainers who are too stupid (or smart) to move out from the comfortable niche they have found themselves in. If in the future I decide that I want to share my point of view with the world, I will put it here accordingly, but for now I'm just sick of the whole thing.

To compensate for the lack of content here, please download this video clip with my compliments. There will be more of these videos in the future. I'll try to upload a new one every month, albeit with a much higher standard of quality than this. This is a kind of test run, and more for historical value than anything else. More on the Armchairs

New Video for Download - Jonestown - from Ian Stephen Cementville 22 mb windows media format

Low budget home made video shot in Mosman in my old apt circa 1995 - quality reasonable

The song was written about Jim Jones and the People's Temple who took off for South America to start a new Utopian society. Unfortunately things got a little out of control and Jim Jones made everyone drink Kool Aid laced with poison, which resulted in over 900 deaths. I wrote this song before I had any idea I'd be living right here where the cult started in San Francisco, which is an odd coincidence.
